Hopefully by now you know how much I love being an extended family photographer. When I can book a whole weekend being a Saint George Extended Family Photographer that is really cool. This family actually traveled down to Saint George for this session. They came all the way from Logan. From the top of Utah to the bottom. They made a whole weekend out of it. They planned a family trip around pictures. I think that’s such a cool idea because you spend all this time with your family making memories and then you have pictures from the trip. Saint George is such a fun place for a family trip. Saint George has endless hikes, and lots are easy for kids. They also have yummy places to eat. There are plenty of places to stay. You you can choose to camp, get a hotel, or even an Airbnb. It’s the bets place for the adventure family or high maintenance family.
Snow Canyon is one of my favorite places in Utah to take pictures. It’s super accessible and easy to find. You still have cell phone service in some parts. There is plenty of light once the sun sets. We shot for probably an hour after the sun went down behind the mountain. But I also shot a family before this one in the full sun and loved that light as well. There is also so much variety in snow canyon. We stayed in this red rock area, but there is also a white rock area, and a black rock area. You can get so much variety in such close proximity. You do have to get a permit to shoot in Snow Canyon. Here is a link for all the information on that.
Being engaged is such a tender time and there is nothing better than learning your partners love language as well as what to gift them.

Seating charts can be a disaster if done in a rush. Use my formula to create cohesive tables where everyone feels included and conversation flows easily.
