I’m so excited to be blogging this Snowbasin Wildflowers session. I absolutely love the Taylor family and I’m so grateful that I got to take their family pictures. I have known Tayler since 6th grade. Tayler has to start a lot of conversations with “yes my name is Tayler Taylor”. Let’s get that out of the way. I am referring to the mother when I say Tayler and the family when I say Taylors. Haha! We were connected at the hip growing up. We spent our summers going to baseball tournaments, camping, and playing night games. As we got older we toilet papered, played pranks, and went to dances together. I am so lucky that I still have so many elementary school friends in my life. These friendships and memories are truly so special to me.
Tayler and Erik have such a fun love story. Erik was Tayler’s older brother Ty’s best friend growing up. So they knew each other for years before dating. Once Tayler graduated high school her and Erik starting dating and she was one of my first friends that got married. They have such a strong love story and I’ve always been grateful for their example in marriage. Now I get to watch Tayler be a mom to Lincoln. I love watching my friends become families. I think this is one of the sweetest times in adulthood and I want to savor every moment.
I was so excited that this session lined up with the Snowbasin Wildflowers. There is just nothing prettier than Utah in the summer. The Snowbasin mountains are gorgeous with or without Wildflowers but when you add the Wildflowers in they are just something else. I love living in a place that is so pretty all year round. The few weeks that these flowers are in session I photograph different families every single night.
