Davis County Extended Family Photographer | Fall Family Photos By Lizzy
I didn’t realize until I was writing this blog post, but our entire team of photographers is from Davis County. Lizzy, Sara, Sadie and I all grew up in different parts of Davis County. I think I can speak for us all when I say we love being a Davis County extended family photographer team. We photograph families all over the state, but we especially love anytime we get to photograph families in Davis County. We have so many incredible locations here. In fact, we love when we get to photograph weddings, seniors, families, headshots, or any subject in Davis County.
As a Davis County extended family photographer team here is a list of some of our favorite locations in Davis County: Antelope Island, Tunnel Springs Park, White Space Studio in Bountiful, Ogden Botanical Gardens, Jensen Nature Park, and last but not least Kays Creek Trail in Layton. These are some of the more popular locations. We can’t post a comprehensive list of Davis County photographer locations because that is proprietary to HS Photo and Co, but we have many!
This extended family session was especially sweet for Lizzy because this is her younger sister Anna’s extended family. They were one of the first families to book a session with Lizzy as soon as I announced her as an HS Photo and Co extended family photographer. I was a little bummed only because I also love the Haslam family. I almost went to the shoot just to hang out with everyone!
I got to photograph Anna and Tyler’s wedding at the beginning of the year. Anna and Tyler’s wedding was of course a referral from Liz. Liz was one of my very first brides when I started photography. I’ve been so lucky to photograph Liz’s family multiple times over the years. I’ve grown to love her little sisters Anna and Becca. I was thrilled when I got to photograph and get to know Anna and her now husband Tyler.
I always love the wedding day because I get to know both the bride and grooms’ families more. The Haslam family is just the sweetest! They were so supportive of Liz and excited to officially make her a Davis County extended family photographer by booking her!
Liz photographed this family right here in Farmington in the field next to the house she grew up in. I thought this was especially sweet because this is where Liz had her wedding reception. It was also less than 10 minutes away from where Anna and Tyler had their wedding reception in Davis County.
The coolest part of having an associate team is downloading a full gallery of images that I didn’t take. I am amazed at the story the pictures tell without even hearing anything from the photographer. I love piecing together the story of the shoot just from the raw images that I see.
I was so impressed by the variety Liz captured in this small Davis County extended family session. We are often shooting larger extended families. You can’t always get a lot of variety when there are so many people to get through. This smaller extended family session gave Liz the opportunity to get all the necessary smiling at the camera shots. Then she took it up a notch by extending the posing to candid posing to get more variety. I am so proud of this session, but take a look for yourself and let us know what you think.
